July 27, 2024<\/strong> – The 130 workers of Alluminio Sammarinese<\/strong> can finally breathe a sigh of relief: the company was saved from closure thanks to the acquisition by Giovanni Gemmani<\/strong>, manager and vice president of the Scm group. business continuity<\/strong> has been guaranteed, thus ensuring the safeguarding of jobs.<\/p>\n

The Role of the Liquidator<\/h2>\n

Among the protagonists of the rescue there is the lawyer Simone Menghini<\/strong>, liquidator of the company. “Behind every worker there are life projects and personal stories,” Menghini explained, emphasising the human importance of this success. “From a professional and human point of view, I lived it in a very intense way, with states of anxiety and moments of euphoria”. An experience that, he added, “will remember for life”.<\/p>\n

Collaboration with the Court and the Unions<\/h3>\n

Menghini wanted to thank the Court<\/strong> for the timeliness and competence in the measures taken, which allowed the company to move forward. In addition, he expressed gratitude to the employees who, despite the difficulties, “gave more of their possibilities”. A special thanks also went to the trade union organisations<\/strong>, which supported the process.<\/p>\n

The Future: Sammarinese Student Is Born<\/h2>\n

With the acquisition, the new company will take the name Alunova Sammarinese<\/strong>, and the agreement will be finalised on August 7<\/strong>. Gemmani guaranteed business continuity and job preservation, declaring that he sees a “very important future” for the company.<\/p>\n

Institutional Acknowledgements<\/h3>\n

The institutions also expressed satisfaction with the positive outcome. The former Secretary of Labour, now at Education and Culture, Teodoro Lonfernini<\/strong>, expressed gratitude through social media, thanking the Government for its “readiness and courage” in dealing with the situation. The new Secretary of Labour, Alessandro Bevitori<\/strong>, stressed how Scm’s new investment is a confirmation of the “solidity and competitiveness of the San Marino economic system”.<\/p>\n
