Reflections on the San Marino Experience Twenty Years After the First Law on the Subject.\u201d<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event is promoted by the&nbsp;<strong>State Secretariat for Justice, Welfare and Family<\/strong>, in cooperation with the&nbsp;<strong>University of the Republic of San Marino<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>San Marino Legal Institute<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Academy of Trusts<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Bar Association and Notaries of San Marino<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Association of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of San Marino<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>IUYA \u2013 International Union of Young Accountants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference took place on\u00a0<strong>Monday, 17 March 2025, at 3:00 p.m.<\/strong>, at the\u00a0<strong>Sala Arengo of the Kursaal Congress Centre in San Marino<\/strong>. It will also serve as the official opening of the\u00a0<strong>professional qualification and refresher course for trustees<\/strong>, organized by the University of San Marino in collaboration with the Academy of Trusts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2005, San Marino\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>trust legislation<\/strong>\u2014initially introduced with Law no. 37 of 17 March 2005 and later replaced by Law no. 42 of 1 March 2010\u2014has undergone significant reforms. Today, it stands out for its ability to integrate with&nbsp;<strong>civil law systems<\/strong>&nbsp;while maintaining a flexible and innovative approach, fully meeting the needs of the modern market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study day was attended by authoritative institutional representatives, including State Secretaries\u00a0<strong>Stefano Canti<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Marco Gatti<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Teodoro Lonfernini<\/strong>, alongside leaders of San Marino\u2019s main professional and academic institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speakers included\u00a0<strong>Avv. Andrea Vicari<\/strong>, President of the Court for Trusts and Fiduciary Relationships, Professors\u00a0<strong>Ferdinando Treggiari<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Gianluca Contaldi<\/strong>, as well as experts such as\u00a0<strong>Avv.
